This information can range from articles on the best way to utilize anti-spyware software, to the reasons why traditional anti-virus applications can no longer protect PC users.

This Wiki is currently a work in progress, so please try and bear with us as we create and organize articles. If you would like to comment on the Wiki, or on artciles you would like to see, I have a forum dedicated to the Security Wiki. Please keep any discussion about the wiki confined to that forum.
This site is managed by the webmaster of GT500.org, and registration is currently restricted due to an issue with the user registration backend used by my Wiki engine. Anyone who wishes to be allowed to add to or edit this wiki will need to create a article relating to virus and/or spyware infection and utilities in order to give an example of their understanding of modern PC security, and either e-mail it to me or post it in my Security Wiki forum so that I can review it (be sure to include a desired username). If I believe you to understand modern PC security concerns, then I will create an account for you.
If anyone wishes to be allowed a restricted user account (allowed to read articles, but not create or edit) in order to subscribe to e-mail updates to any articles here, then you will also have to e-mail me. Again, be sure to include your desired username in your e-mail (passwords can be changed later from the one I initially set for you).
BTW: In case you are wondering, the green and grey donations button at the bottom of each page are not for this site. That button is for submitting a donation to the DokuWiki project, and neither GT500.org or anyone affiliated with it will get any money you donate when clicking on that button. If you wish to make a donation to keep this site up and running, then there is a PayPal donation button to the right...
